So, no. My mom had some physical therapy done today and was treated HORRIBLE. I met her and she seemed ok but TODAY… was not ok. Talk about being mistreated. I hope for your family’s sake you don’t get Miriam. She honestly shouldn’t even be doing this line of work with how awful she was. She won’t be helping my mom anymore. I’m LIVID.
I have been thinking about this review for almost three months as the investigation in to me from Adult Protective Services slowly made it's way to the finish line with a complete exoneration to the accusations from Sunshine Home Health. These people came in to my home for less than a week and reported me to APS for "Neglecting" my dad. I will point out it was news to my dad that he had been neglected. SHH has been very helpful.
My mom had Centerwell home health after a hip replacement several years ago. They were awesome. The case manager was there within 24 hours. Her therapy started within a few days. Because of that experience I was confident that I could forgo inpatient rehab and get started on home PT and OT for my hip replacement recovery. I am a week post op from my hip replacement.
