Sunshine is the best in Huntsville, AL. The parts are always sharp and braids neatly done. Been coming to her to braid my hair and family since 2019. Always good service and work!
The ladies at Sunshine Hair Braiding were EXTREMELY courteous, professional and kind during my entire service. I went in for small box braids down to the thigh and they gave me exactly what I wanted. The ladies were in shock because they didn’t realize that my hair was so short due to me cutting it down and leaving about 2 inches of hair on my head. Do not go here!!! I was not pleased with my hair because the parting in the front was visibly smaller than the back. They also did not do brick layering all the way through. Instead of fixing the issue they were rude and unapologetic!! I’ll NEVER come back and advise you to do the same!!!!!! My 7 year old does doll hair better than this!!
I had a frustrating experience. I was quoted one price over the phone, but when I arrived, the price was significantly higher. There wasn’t a clear explanation for the difference, which felt misleading. On top of that, they seemed overbooked, and the service felt rushed and disorganized. I understand businesses can get busy, but better communication and honoring quoted prices would go a long way. I hope they can improve scheduling and pricing transparency for future customers.
I paid extra for waist-length hair, but it more closely resembles bra length. I’ve been here before, and last time I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the result. I attributed it to the style, but this time I paid 250 for waist-length hair and wasted my money because it’s not waist length. They need to improve their listening skills.
