I've had some complications with maintenance for the past couple of months while living here until Walter came and started working here! My washer wasn't working for a while, and it took the other maintenance crew MONTHS to just come look at it, but as soon as Walter came to my apartment to look at it, he immediately found the issue and got my washer working as soon as possible! I’ve been living here for 8 months about now and I seriously don’t recommend renting here, so far since i’ve been living here my roof and fell apart above my bathtub, my washer completely broke and is not draining leaving a foul odor coming out of it, there’s cockroaches coming from the drains/walls, a leak from the bathroom making the floor constantly wet etc. and the maintenance is absolutely horrible, i’ve contacted them for months as well as the front office to get these problems resolved before they got worse and instea... read more
Three weeks into living here and my neighbors bedroom was pelted with an estimated 43 gunshots. In good taste I will not be including pictures of the scene. You can keep reading if you need to. But the story doesn't get any better. This is a bad property and management isn't taking anyone's safety seriously. We moved out after the shooting. Terrible place. DO NOT RENT HERE! My daughter lived here and could not wait to leave. Cops always around, cars broken into all the time. Maintenance is awful. She fulfilled her lease and moved out. Months later, we discover a collection of debt on our credit report (I co-signed). Neither of us ever received a bill or phone call from Sunset or the shady debt collection agency. We have no idea what these charges are. We can't get a return phone call either.
Toured apartment that looked great, then applied and got accepted. When we went to go look at the apartment that we'd actually be renting out, it was extremely outdated and didn't even have the same amenities as the one that we toured. Then we were told there was another apartment that had the same amenities and layout as the one we toured, we were told to come back the following Monday, but that got pushed back to Wednesday, then Thursday.
