Wow!!! I am reminded of the pre consumer protection regulation days of big banks. Just found out I have been charged multiple late fees a month, yes you read that right two late fees in a single month with no notification. A bill is never sent out for rent but I know the amount and send it in on time every month. So for months they have been adding $40 on the 1st for a late fee and another $40 on the 15th. They give kickbacks to their maintenance staff for doing the cheapest job possible. They also tell maintenance staff to ignore maintenance requests from current residents so they can open vacant units to get new renters. I understand prioritizing getting new renters. It increases revenue. I even understand trying to cut costs by cutting corners when reasonable.
