I had the worst experiences. My disability lawyer contacts the doctor to have him provide some context. The Dr Tanbakuvhi calls me and asks me to book a visit a month after the forms were due. Then i show up for the appointment and nurse african american tarantula eyes (fake eye lashes) informs me the doctor isnt filling these forms out he doesnt have the records. The doctor himself is excellent — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about patients. Unfortunately, the office staff significantly detracts from the experience. Every year, I run into the same issue with prior authorizations for my medication. This year has been especially frustrating. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Amber Lee for the earliest available date and time. At no point during the scheduling process was I informed that she only conducts virtual appointments now. Had I known this upfront, I would not have booked the appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early, understanding the usual process of filling out paperwork and verifying insurance, as someone with prior experience in the medical field. I waited over 6 months to get an appointment with Dr. Yun at Sunset Primary Care. I was excited to finally have a primary care doctor who listened to my concerns and actually ordered the labs I requested. Unfortunately, I was recently informed (without any prior notice) that Dr. Yun no longer works at the clinic and my follow up appointment was canceled.
