BEST MUSIC IN DFW – My friends and I(6 girls, 4 guys) recently discovered Sunset Lounge on a Saturday night after being annoyed by all the D-Bags and Plastics at the other bars. This place was our savior! At about 11:30 I was surprised to see a line. Hate lines, but the place MUST be that good. Great Place, Fun Time! – I recently visited Sunset Lounge and had a blast! I was there for a bachlorette party and could not have asked for a more fun laid back atmosphere! The staff was great from the guys at the front door to the bartenders, waitress', even the bus boys were friendly! WORST BAR/CLUB IN DALLAS--fraud charges, bad service, AWFUL – Terrible, awful bar AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Where to begin...we went for a birthday because we heard it had good music & was a fun classy dance place. WRONG! The bouncers were rude & thuggish, the bartenders were rude, made terrible drinks & openly ignored customers to take shots at the bar. went because i heard the drinks were good – I don't think i'll be going back to this bar anytime soon. Parking was terrible and the wait staff kind of sucked when i was there. Maybe i just went on a bad night. But i probably wont be going back.
Best music in Dallas – Best music of any club in Dallas. Fri & Sat nights always draw a good crowd - late 20s. Best to get there around 10:00, watch the crowd build and avoid the rush. Drinks are stiff...when crowded best to get drinks on the patio
I love this place – There are so many things that I love about this lounge. First of all the atmosphere is very relaxing and upscale. The crowd is very trendy and classy, ages range from mid twenty to thirties so you have a more mature crowd. Just like with any ?hot night spot? popularity often contributes to a sometimes-crowded environment; this doesn?t make for a un-comfortable situation as many people mingle to the covered patio. Great customer service – This was my first time at Sunset Lounge and it was an awesome experience. The drinks were good and the wait at the bar was minimal. It was not too crowded which made it easy as a women to get to the restroom and bar fairly quickly. The staff make you feel welcomed and the atmosphere was one that cannot be duplicated. I will recommend this bar for a while to come. I am also in the alcoholic beverage industry and this is a hot spot.....trust me.
Avoid anytime. – I frequent many club type bars and dance clubs in Dallas, and found this one to be a regretful choice on two occassions. Good luck finding parking, and then the long wait to get inside. I found the staff to be very confrontive and hostile on the second visit. Prices of drinks are unreasonable and the staff is extremely slow in getting them out. A great experience – I fell in love with this place just for the bright vibe it rubbed on me when I got in. The lighting and decor give that relaxed sunset feeling, yet the colors get you in that happy cheerful mood. Dont be put off by its outside apperance, once you go in your in total bliss. As far as the food and service, I cant complain. The food was good, and it was served in a timely manner.
