Sunset Lake Rehab, recently improved many issues, such as food service and meals. I’m leaving tomorrow, after 10 weeks of therapy. The therapists and CNAs were motivational. The CNA’s, for the most part are dedicated, educated, and observant professionals beyond their certification. This speaks well of Sunset Lake Health and Rehab Center. Do not use this place at all. They are understaffed. Quality of care is terrible. Food is terrible. They only have maybe two or three good CNAs. The rest are all foreign and can't speak English very well and do not care about you until I stood up for myself and demand it proper care. They even stole my ice packs that I had to supply for my swelling after surgery. I've been made to pee in the diaper instead of them putting me on the bed pan by three different CNAs ended up with the urinary infection because of it. Had to brin... read more
I am a resident here, very clean, great nursing they make sure you're good and check up on you all the time, but the only problem I have the food is absolutely horrible it's really really bad, please do something about it, it's really really bad!!!!, I have to order out all the time or somehow go to the 7-Eleven to get something to eat it's really really 🤢
My experience here at Sunset Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center has been the greatest. When I arrived I was placed in the Short term side known as Lakeview. This is where I had got all my therapy, to get strong, my ability to get my independence. Now I am on the Long term side known as Gardenview. All the staff are all attentive and caring. If I need anything they are willing to go the extra mile. The facility offers a variety of activities to keep me and all the other residents occupied. This is an excellent facility.
I wish my grandma would have never been put into this place. The staff was inattentive and ultimately we lost a great woman. The facility and staff fell short at her, and probably others, expense.
