We had a wonderful time at Sunset Heaven Ryokan and Spa. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. They offered a great Japanese experience, delicious food, and a relaxing onsen. The view was amazing, especially at sunset-it really lives up to the name! The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to come back again!:)
Beautiful Japanese-style accommodation and event venue. The views at sunset and for stargazing are stunning. The staff is knowledgeable about astronomy. It may not be open every day, but their events and food are exquisite.
A beautiful full afternoon with the hot spa, cold springwater pool, infra red sauna and a 2 hour massage. Emi was lovely, doing a deep tissue remedial massage, focussing on pressure points to leave me relaxed. The hospitality and attention to the small details, including tailored body oils, the Matcha Latte, home made Japanese sweets and lemon water throughout the day made it truely special.
