I’ve been going to this office for a couple of years and the providers and front desk staff seems to rotate out a lot. The Sunset location is an hours drive from my house but used to be worth it considering how amazing Danna was. Now it’s been nothing but stressful just to get an appointment. I had to wait 6+ months to get an appointment. Apparently the doctor has a very overwhelming schedule. Now there’s a new “policy” that if you’re 5 minutes late you have to reschedule. I called numerous times to this office, May 21, to get through and their AI is awful then I was routed to wrong depts when asked for Endocrinology. I had an urgent request to confirm to them if lab test was correct name then found out from PCP it was done within 6 months. My PCP will be faxing it to them hopefully today so I can still schedule with them next Thur, next week. This office needs to get rid of AI and learn to LISTEN to people what they're requesting and not have me on hold for a long time!
I want to share a GREAT experience I had with Sunset Endocrinology. I was there on May 20 for a new pt. Visit. DR. Ward is wonderful. He takes his time, he listens and offers helpful solutions on how to better manage my care. Toni who is the MA was wonderful as well. She took time to get me set up from start to finish with my CGM and was very pleasant during the whole process. Front desk staff very polite and personable and helped me get all set up for my next appointments. I definitely left my appointment feeling confident.... read more
If you are a new patient be very careful with this office. I called in Oct, was told they are booked out until April. April arrives - they say the doctor has a meeting. We rescheduled to tomorrow. No word from them so I called to confirm - they cancelled by appointment in april the day after they called me to rescheduled, no reason, no call back. Wade the Dietician is awesome; he knows what he is talking about and is very clear of what I needed to do going forward with my diet as a Diabetic Type I. He truly great.
