I love how they manage to assemble bikes here using affordable but high quality parts. I would definitely recommend.
A gem among local bike shops – I ride a lot (no appologies). Commuting, recreational riding, OBRA races etc. And I spend a lot too. This is the one shop I've found where I haven't been treated like crap. (Well, to be fair, Bike Gallery on NE Sandy was pretty good too. But just the one on Sandy.) I'm not a hipster. Walk a mile in my highheeled shoes and then you can tell me how women are treated in this store... – Ehem...SIR you illustrated my point for me. As a WOMAN I did NOT get the special "take the bike for a spin and warm friendly greeting." NOPE, not going to buy the "slipped through the cracks"...heard this from 4 other women that went their too. WE were the wrong gender for the service you received. Guess the old saying is true: How can you understand until you walk a mile in a woman's moccasins?

Wanted to keep my dollars local, but Sunset Cycles isn't welcoming to non hard core cyclists....aka be nice to the newbies...EVEN the female ones. – I went to Sunset Cycles with the intention of spending up to $1,000 on a bike.
