Disgusting! I called to inquire about vegan options since I was invited to a dinner there. A lady with an accent answered and she laughed and said she can give me arugula and broccoli. She said they were an Italian restaurant and Italians don't cook vegan meals. I mentioned to her I had been in Italy many times and she was incorrect and perhaps they should consider broadening their minds to accommodate special diets. My family had made reservations for this restaurant so I called ahead to see if they offered any vegan options. I am lactose intolerant and do not eat meat. The lady over the phone scoffed at me and said, ‘absolutely not, we are an Italian and seafood restaurant, we don’t do vegan. You need to get a life’ and the proceeded to hang up. Never have I felt so discriminated against! I was so baffled by her response and I am so happy I did not waste my time at this outdated restaurant. The food was amazing. I had this scrumptious filet fresh snapper that was whole fish. My wife said it was the best lobster bisque she had tasted in years. Our service was excellent and the ambience was electric. Elvis was singing and folks dancing inside formed a congo line at one point. so much fun.
Beautiful view and great atmosphere. Food is outstanding and a great South Florida vibe.
We came to Sunset Catch for dinner while in Pompano for our honeymoon. We are return visitors and it was better than we remember. Great service, beautiful views and delicious food. This will be a place we always visit when here in Pompano Beach
