We had Sunrun install solar panels on our home 2.5 years ago, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. The representative promised us that we’d be paying only $181/month, based on a supposed $18,000 federal tax credit check we’d receive in the mail and apply toward the system cost. This was a huge part of our decision to go solar. HOWEVER – that was a complete lie. Definitely will be recommending to anyone who is thinking about switching to solar. Lucian has been the absolute best & is always answering every question I have with such clarity & reassurance. We were actually able to get qualified for the free program where we only pay a certain amount for our power bill & we thought it was too good to be true but he kept reassuring me I would never pay for the equipment ONLY the power we use. I had looked solar before and it had never made sense. Bobby helped me understand how different Sunrun and their program were from everything else I ad ever seen. Everything worked out exactly as he explained and I have been very satisfied. It is huge peace of mind to know I will always have power and not have to worry about what my bill is going to be.
I would give no stars right now if I could. We have had panels on our home for 2 years now our brand new roof is leaking into our bedroom. Called told we have a 25 year roof warranty that’s great. However was told it was considered an emergency but have not heard from our so called case manager Kayla. Have left 4 messages called 15 times over 4 days and heard nothing.
