I do not want solar. I am polite, I am understanding that the folks canvassing the neighbourhood are just doing their job. However when I have a very clear NO SOLICITING sign right under the doorbell and they ring it anyway to try and sell me solar panels, it's infuriating. Then when I tell them I am not interested they instantly get pushy and insistent, sometimes even condescending. There is exactly zero chance I will ever buy tens of thousands of dollars worth of solar panels to put on my roof from a door to door salesman.... read more
UPDATE: I emailed Sunrun at the email address given in their response to my review and received an automated reply that stated someone would reach out to me within one business day… its been 4 weeks and I have still not heard from them. Another example of their wonder customer service for existing customers… I would not recommend Sunrun and advise anyone considering to get solar panels from them to read very carefully what you are signing and calculate out what the actual cost of the system is over the term of the agreement.... read more

We had talked to a couple of different solar companies over the past couple of years and something was always off. Either the price was off, or the contract had weird clauses, or overly aggressive sales tactics, you name it. When Sunrun came around, I decided to give them a chance. Andrew Smith handled our case and he was good about explaining everything without being overly pushy. He and the other members of the Sunrun team helped to make the whole process easy and get to installation faster than we had expected.
