When we think about taking a special trip or a Mommy and Daddy get away or even a family vacation we think Sunriver Resort. There is absolutely nothing we would change about any experience we have had. From the rooms, to the view, and the staff to the neighboring shops area- every single moment was nothing less than fantastic. We can not wait to return again. (My personal fave time is around Christmas time...absolutely gorgeous everywhere!)
Stayed in the river lodges . Great food good service, friendly people. The scenery is spectacular!
We stayed in the condos at wildflower and for the money that we paid I would have expected a much nicer place. It was dirty bugs in bed very dated. I don't recommend it. Not to mention they require us to do the dishes take out the trash, come on. Sun River is nice but accommodation lack.
Sunriver is our annual vacation, it is just spectacular! There is so much to do, and see.... simply breathtaking....

I LOVED the resort, the staff was great, the grounds, the pool, the cafe. Perfect. The room..... Was extremely average. literally nothing spectacular to say about it, other than a compfy bed. Pillow was rock hard. Got a handicap room with a Roll in shower (did not need). No shower curtain, and only 4 towels - 2 of which ended up on the floor to clean up the splattered water all over the bathroom. The deck had zero privacy. Walked outside and was greeted instantly by our neighbor eating Cheetos in a chair 2 feet away. Awkward... read more
My husband and I have been coming to Sunriver over 30 years. It's the best place to ride bikes with over 30 miles of paved bike trails along the river and through the woods. The air smells wonderful and the sky is beautiful. Lots of good places to eat and shop too and all kinds of outdoor recreation.
