Our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The front desk reception was unprofessional and unhelpful — honestly, you receive better service at a gas station. When we asked how we could spend a few hours before our scheduled massages, we were told we could “hang out” in the gift shop. Only after multiple follow-up questions did they reluctantly offer to escort us to the sauna or explain the amenities and grounds. I have come as a day guest visitor to soak in the hot springs a number of times, made purchases at the spa gift shop and also eaten at the on-site restaurant. On my most recent visit with a friend, although the sauna was broken and there were no lockers available (was forced to lug belongings around to the different pools), we were offered no discount or additional accommodations (free robe, drink etc).
