The only reason this place didn’t get a one is bc of the mentors. They are all truly amazing people and really do care. However my therapist Kim was judgmental and rude. When I first came they told me I was going to get EMDR which they later told me they could not give me bc there was not enough room, I was on a gf diet and did not accommodate it until 5 days after getting there, there was so much false information that was given. Save your family from the distress, financial burden and abuse of sunrise residential treatment center. They scam scared parents who feel like they are out of options and looking for a solution to help their child. I was there 2016-2018. During my time there at my campus alone 7 staff were fired for something sexual with one of the kids there. Please don’t send your child here, incompetent and untrained staff leave students traumatized, they will USE you, your child, and your money. False advertising is an understatement!!!
