I put my family member in Sunrises of Decatur this was the biggest mistake I made from the Executive,Sale,,Med tech, Residential Care. All of the above are inexperience people They all need excessive trainingThe goals are driven by Money, not the Care of the residence. This place is NOT CLEAN , This place is Infested badly with Roaches and bugs. My wife has been a resident on the Memory Care Unit for a year. Her care is excellent & I highly recommend Sunrise. I feel very comfortable with her living at Sunrise & appreciate the caring of the caregivers & staff. I lived on 1st floor Assisted Living for 4 months when my wife moved in. I found the food great, staff very caring & the price reasonable. I highly recommend Sunrise!
My mother is very hard to please. As of now she is having fun with the reading club and other activities. She is always going to complain about the food wherever she goes. But the complaints about the food are less at Sunrise of Decatur.
