There is NOTHING resort-like about this place. STAY FAR AWAY!. Management is ONLY in it for how much money they can screw out of you and will LIE TO YOU to get it. When I first moved in I was given the option of a 6mo lease or a 13mo lease and if I chose the shorter 6mo term the rent was higher so naturally I chose the 13mo lease for less expensive rent. If you like a horrible common area back yard (dog feces, no grass since I've lived there, no maintenance or cleaning of area) and pipes bursting all of the time (5 different units within my complex within a two month span), Did I mention POOR MAINTENANCE on the yards. FPI manages the apartment building I live in. Glenbrook Apartments in Chico, Ca. I have been trying to contact them for 8 months because of an issue with the apartment manager and have not recieved a single phonecall. That being said... Just walk away from this one. They have unfair leasing agreements. They wouldn't give me access to my mailbox because I wouldn't get renters insurance. So when it comes to paying utilities, I get a note on my door with a dollar amount. I don't get to see any of said bills. It took them 10 months to replace the grimy carpets in the hallway. The elevator is always broken, because they continue to work with ThyssenKrupp (the worst elevator repair people to work with. They should switch to Schindler). I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS WORTHLESS PLACE 1 STAR!!!!!! The WORST apartment complex in the City of Lubbock. To ALL of my Cargill employee friends moving from Plainview.... I have been a tennat there since September of 2011 and they have been wonderful since I have moved there. I havent had any problems with pest or maintanence. They are nice everytime I come up there and if you talk to them they will work with you as much as they can. I love it there!!
This is the worst apartment I've ever had the miss fortune to live in, I've lived in alot cheaper apartments that were ran better and kept nicer. 3 times last year 1 or all the pools were down. I know it happens no biggy some years are worst than others. Maintanance is a joke unless you live around one of the pools because that is the only place they like to hang out, notice I didnt say work. New management is excellent. All they've done is help me out since I moved in last week. Not only did I get a great deal for my apartment but they allow big dogs and even have a little "dog park" for them. My pipes froze so I haven't been able to take a shower and when the manager found out she let me use the model's shower. This is a great place to live; the only thing I don't like was the HUGE lease agreement and the fact that you have to give a 60 day notice when you want to move out; even if it's at the end of your lease... read more
They are all very friendly in the office thay always make me feel welcome. I had a few issues with maintenance but once I spoke to them they were resolved quickly. I enjoy living here for the price it is great.
