Negligent and discriminatory. Ive been complaining about on-site management harassment, racial slurs and even threats of violence against me for over 2 years to corporate and theyve done nothing. I was actually attacked by on site managements relative with a fork and taken to ER and ******************* is still employed at the same property. What a terrible company. I thought that this was some sort of anomaly. The "maintenance" appointment that was scheduled today was a NO SHOW and NO COMMUNICATION. I've spent my entire Saturday waiting.This issue with the dishwasher has been going on since November 2021.The company should be fined or shutdown.

Sunrise Management is the company that manages our ******** ** apartment building and have been by far one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. After living amongst roaches, termites, and mold for almost 10 months today is the final day of our 30 day notice due to uninhabitable conditions. They have been rude and NEVER respond to any form of message or call. My hopes are that they will gain more empathy for their tenants and stop being rude & dismissive.

Worst apartment management company on the planet. They don't fix anything properly, roach infested,rat infested. The apartment buildings are out of OSHA standard building code. On top of all of it they lie straight to your face tell you what you want to hear and do nothing. Not to mention the racism that happens. If you are hispanic you can do what ever you want regardless of what is in your lease agreement. BLUF: Avoid Sunrise Management! Especially if you are Military! I lived at a property that managed by Sunrise (Driftwood Apartments in San Diego) and it has been a nightmare. They are incredible unresponsive (phone, email, tenant portal) to any kind of communication. I finally moved out after simply sending them an email saying I would be terminating the month-to-month lease (no one ever reached out after the lease expired). 23 days later after many attempts to contact them about the security deposit, I finally reach someone... read more

'm hesitant to write this because I'm a current resident of this management company. But I've had it. They took over management several months ago. The courtyard lights were off for a whole week. The laundry room's power was off for that same week. I called and left multiple messages. Emailed as well. Never got a return email. A previous resident ( since moved out) drove up to their office and complained directly to the office staff. Nothing. Do not trust this company. They took over my previous management and when I moved out, only returned $50 of my $500 deposit. At one point they tried to say I owed them. Mind you, their representative signed off on my exit walk through and said everything was fine. They charged me for painting when my unit was ruined by water damage from the upstairs neighbor and the previous management company never repainted. And I contacted them regarding my deposit after not hearing from them in the 21 days after vacating the property.

Do not rent from this business regardless of your situation. They are beyond unprofessional. We had many issues, one with roaches, and the second with our cables connecting our Internet. Lori, who is the maintenance staff, was extremely ill behaved with my fiance and I, and proceeded to yell at us, and send us coercive text messages.
