We stayed in the cottage and absolutely loved it. The whole place had a peaceful, homey vibe to it. The gardens, decor and lake just make you feel absolutely at ease. The room was so comfortable, we felt right at home. It was so nice to wake up and sit outside with my coffee and see the lake and enjoy a visit from one of the cats. It is quiet and peaceful, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a while!

I was concerned due to the connotation that the word "motel" has to it, but the Sunrise Landing Motel is a great place to stay. It has a feel of the glory days of road travel and vacation destinations, with some modern conveniences. They have WiFi, but it also is within full cell service and satellite TV. RecommendedWe just returned from our second stay at this motel. It has a fabulous location, the rooms are very well kept, and the family that owns it and maintains it are very personable and make sure you are satisfied with your stay.
My wife and I loved everything about the motel. The owner/staff gave us wood for a fire on the beach but weather didn't cooperate so we'll have to do that next time. The staff were there if needed but they also gave us privacy. And on a cold rainy day the satellite TV was nice. We'll be back.
My husband and I stayed at Sunrise Landing this weekend. It is a super charming retro motel. The grounds are beautiful with lots of lawn space on the way to the beach. Beautiful views from most of the rooms! The owners were very nice also! Great place to stay!!!
Just spend a 2 night getaway there. Stayed in the Sunrise suite and was not disappointed.
My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was on my bucket list. We were on a 3 week road trip from California to as many places as we could touch. So glad we touched here. Quaint quiet and quality service!
