I had booked this hotel based on proximity to the anacortes ferry, and it seemed like a good deal online. I, unfortunately, hit a ton of traffic driving in and realized I wouldn’t arrive until after 9 pm. I called and they arranged a late check in for me (their office closes early, 7 pm?) This place is really nice! When I see 2 star hotel, my expectations were way lower than what we got - I was impressed! Clean, spacious, well-appointed and well located for the ferry.
Fairly recently updated, so room was nice. Mini fridge had a freezer, so - bonus...Everything was comfortable and worked. Complimentary breakfast was really "lacking", so we needed to go elsewhere (good breakfast bagel place was only a block away, so we did that instead). They kept emailing & texting asking me to check in ahead of time, but it seemed pointless, cuz I still had to go in and talk to the guy behind the counter and give him my info and credit card...whatever - I would stay there again.
Clean room and close to restaurants. Short drive to the ferry too. There’s no breakfast here but there’s a bagel place a short walk away.
We stayed in Anacortes for one night so we can do a day trip to San Juan Island. The hotel is clean and very nice. We arrived late at night and the self check-in option was the best part. I would stay here again!
