I spent a number of days visiting a loved one at this assisted living center. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and gentleness they showed in how they cared for my loved one. It's a beautiful setting where this is located and I can tell they work hard to maintain that. The rooms are spacious and enable them to have things that let them feel like they have enough of their own space and can make it their home. I really only had one complaint and that was they need a rear entrance for visitors, especially in the rain.
Sunrise has been nothing short of miraculous for my mom. Everyone knows her and treats her as part of a community, not as a patient. Through her time here, she has gotten the care she needs to get back to her vibrant self. The physical therapy staff is getting her stronger, the medical staff was able to evaluate what medications she truly needed for optimal health, and the recreation staff has planned so many events that really engage my mom’s interests. I don't know much about the place but the old white lady who works at the front desk is either racist or something. I called up there to get some information and she literally just hung up in my face mid sentence. I respect my elderlys but if it's wrong then it's wrong point blank.
Sunrise at East Cobb has been a blessing for our mother. When we first came to Sunrise, my father was admitted to hospice care, so mom needed some extra TLC. At Sunrise, mom was able to properly adjust to life without my dad with the help of a caring and thoughtful staff. Mom’s health has improved and her spirits have lifted all due to the fantastic facility and homie environment. Thank you Sunrise!
Moving my dad from his current assisted living facility to Sunrise was quick, efficient and painless especially with my dad's dementia and inability to make changes in his life without grumbling. Sunrise was a comfortable place that embraced my dad and made him feel comfortable and at home right away and I had little to no problems with his transition. The pricing was way better and the amenities, service, food and location were amazing!
