RecommendedMy husband and I have been taking our pets to Sunrise Animal Hospital for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Dr. Colquhoun (from the beginning) and Dr. Simpson (since he joined the staff) have cared for all our pets with the utmost compassion, and have earned our respect and loyalty.
Took our dog up there today for an emergency. Dog wasn't able to walk, hasn't drank or eaten since yesterday late afternoon. She lay crying under my dinning room room chair. Got to the office which was locked due to corona. I called and was told someone would call me right back. I waited an hour and called again. Long story short because they hadn't seen her since 2017 they wanted to do an exam, bloodwork and xrays, etc. Told me it would be almost $500. Over a decade ago my calico cat Jen, nickname Hooty, had pancreatitis and thanks to the Doctor and staff at Sunrise Animal Hospital she will turn 13yo on Valentine's Day!
We have 4 dogs and 3 cats and have used Sunrise Animal Hospital for years. Recently, our ten year old Siamese cat became sick. Dr. Colquhoun never gave up when it came to trying to diagnose the issue, which could have been a great number of things. He came in on weekends and on his days off the week of Christmas to check on our boy and to perform the exploratory surgery with Dr. Simpson. They have been wonderful the last 14.5 years. We had the hardest decision but Dr. C was wonderful to us and our precious dog. Would recommend them to anyone!
We recently had to make the tough decision to put our beloved Angel to sleep. She was 14 years old. Dr. Simpson and the staff at Sunrise are very professional and caring.
