Continued auto-charging me after I sold the house and transferred solar agreement. Even though they took a $1,000 deposit from buyer. Acknowledged they shouldn't charge and stopped but said they don't refund. Took it to BBB. Wouldn't take accountability, said I'd need to take refund up with Sunnova bankruptcy, even though SunStrong made these charges. Tried to cancel my annual subscription to their monitoring service. Got shuffled between three different agents over a 45 minute period before I was finally successful. Pretty bad customer service.
The only way to post a review is to give a star. This company doesn’t deserve any stars. This is also the address that comes up for Sunstrong management, which took over Sunnova. STAY FAR AWAY!! They do not care about their customers. I am fully in contract to sell my dad’s house, and for 3 weeks I have been trying to get a transfer started. This is the old Sunnova. Sunnova was so bad that it had to rebrand and is now operating as SunStrong. It’s the same company, just a different name. My account was recently transferred to SunStrong without any real choice. Everything they promised turned out to be false. Poor service, misleading information, and broken promises. Stay away from this company. Total scam. Don’t get caught up like I did.
I have not had any solar production since July, yet I continue to be billed every month as if my system is working. On top of that, they increased my monthly amount without explanation and added fees that were never disclosed or justified. Customer service is a nightmare. It takes hours just to get someone on the phone, and when you finally reach a representative—who I am always polite and respectful to—you are transferred repeatedly or disconnected.
