I can't recommend Simi enough. We have now used him for over 4 years and I have recommended him to many friends. Simi has always taken the time to make sure the job is done right and just spend a couple hours at our house redoing work on a heat pump that wasn't done the right way during install. Simi is easily one of the best contractors we have ever worked with.

Simo spent 45 minutes at my place, pressure tested my AC system which head leaked during the cold snap this winter, and determined the issue. In the end he explained how it really could be a warranty, he declined to take my offered payment for the service call. When / if I need a furnace or tankless hot water heater you can bet I'll shop with him. Highly recommended and very trustworthy. 2025 Update: 90° day, the AC kept quitting. I was in need of someone to come in and check out my furnace because it had stopped producing heat. A year before i had another "hvac expert" come in, charge me 150 dollars for just an inspection, and another 50 or so to "fix" the problem, only for the problem to show up again a year later. Sunnyside heating and cooling came in, and in 2 hours, found the actual root cause of the issue, temporarily get the heat working again, and offer a very reasonably priced, permanent, and solid solution to the issue. Woke up to no heat on the only day of portland snow in 2025! This was the only company out of all that I called that could make it out same-day, and I'm so so lucky it was Sunnyside. My whole furnace needed to be replaced and Simi patiently explained the issue, showed me the damage, walked me through the options, and stayed overtime to give me heat on that freezing day. Everything was very reasonably priced too. I will forever be their loyal customer and will recommend them to everyone.
