My husband was at Sunnyside for just over a year, on Shantz Hill. As expected, the initial few weeks were very difficult for him, but the staff and other residents welcomed him with open arms. He soon got involved in some activities, which he loved, especially the Pub Nights!! As he declined, the staff cared for him so well, and he expressed his gratitude to them many times. I, too, thank Shantz Hill staff for the genuine care and respect given to him. Thank you!

If I could give this place a 0 I would I told a friend of mine a year and half ago to move her mom from here from neglect unfortunately this long term care is government funded as a psw I wouldn't work here or put my family member here her mom passed away recently because the rpn rn and psw couldn't see her oxygen cord was stuck and she was only getting 40 percent oxygen then she was on a medication the RN asked my friend about the moms medication what kind how much even though medication are listen on what kind and how much... read more
