I have been bringing my vehicles to John for the last 7 years now and would not even think about sending them to anyone else. He and his team have been nothing short of professional at each opportunity. Their knowledge and explanation of the required services have always been exceptional and I have never questioned or worried that I was being sold something unnecessary. I will gladly continue to bring my families vehicles to Sunnyside for all services big and small.
Jon at Sunnyside Automotive has been my regular mechanic for years. Almost 10 years and 4 different vehicles. I have referred a bunch of friends to Jon for his honest work and reasonable prices, none of them have ever been let down. In my experience with this shop, Jon has stood by his word and his warranty. That kind of ethic is rare these days.
STOP, TURN AROUND and go elsewhere. This shop will lie, cheat and do whateve it takes to get your hard earned money. I took my van in for some repairs. This included a tune-up,oil change, and new valve cover gaskets. When the mechanic pulled the covers, he asked the owner twice to take a look. He stated that there was a considerable amount of sludge. The spark plugs were also covered in oil. This is signs that serious problems exists. Sunnyside Automotive has serviced our family's cars for the past 4 years. We have consistently received good service at reasonable rates. The reception area isn't fancy, but the employees are friendly and honest. We have recommended their service to several friends.
Its the only place I will take my car, as well as, my family's cars. Not to mention, I have been able to take anything I own with a motor (motor cycle, boat, and a snowmobile) and they have been able to fix them no problem. They do fantastic work, on time, and do their best to accomidate anyones budget without sacrificing quality service. I have been taking my cars to Sunnyside Auto for almost 10 years now. They have a way of reviving even the most rotten of lemons. My recent cars have been more of the luxury variety, and they service those way below the price of all other companies in the Portland-Metro area. If you are looking for a Shop you can stick with for the long haul, or unhappy with your current mechanic, I would recommend you visit Sunnyside Auto.
Great guys will return for other work – Sunnyside Automotive does its best to make every customer happy. sunnyside has grown from a one man shop to seven men and woman who look forward everyday to serve the needs of its customers.
These guys rate a low C- for a reason. Piss-poor service and unethical practices. I give them an F-! I can't discourage you enough. There are plenty of horror stories on here to hopefully steer you to a better place. There were multiple times I had to take my car back for parts of service that didn't get completed or were overlooked. Owner simply shrugged his shoulders when I brought this to his attention. Long story, short- they ruined my car and then tried to blame me. Unconscionable.
I recently needed some car repairs that I thought were going to require extensive work and be quite costly. I had my vehicle towed to Sunnyside Automotive and being that it was late in the day and they are a busy shop, I assumed that it would be the following day before they could even begin assessing my car. Just a few hours later, I received a call from the owner letting me know that my car was fixed and ready to be picked up at my convenience.
