Such a wonderful pediatric clinic - everyone is so kind and welcoming, and the doctors are patient, caring, and attentive. We always feel comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Honestly, I was in the process of wanting to switch paediatricians in the first place because it doesn’t seem like this Dr. Cooper is interested unless it can be solved with a pill. Like other treatment plans aren’t feasible options. Or worth discussing. But he was the one that filed for the disability tax credit last time I had to. It was time to renew from one of my children. This clinic is absolutely disgusting. As soon as you enter you are required to sign “clinic policy” forms which consist of a number of “fees”. Talk about bad taste. During an affordability crisis you ask for more money than you’re already required through AHS?? Perhaps you need to manage your clinic in a more cost effective way rather then trying to pinch all the pennies from your clients (parents of children that are already trying to navigate an unaffordable western world) funny. If you ever have any type of family emergency come up where you have to same day cancel your child's appointment, they will try to charge you a $600 fee. That's what just happened to me and my mind is blown that they tried to make me pay that high of a cancellation fee. I was then told that since I can't afford to pay the $600 they won't rebook the appointment at all. This is what the doctor was telling the receptionist to say. Dr Kjaldgaard is an amazing pediatrician and has gone above and beyond to help and support our family. She was the first person to sit down with us and actually take the time to listen to my concerns and make the diagnosis of autism. We had been rushed through previous appointments with another pediatrician, but dr kjaldgaard booked us extra time for our appointment and took the time to explain the diagnosis and how we can access support.
