So today was my first time at sunnybrook prosthetics. I must say I’m so impressed as a black disabled female I find a lot of “barriers” when it comes to my care. From the moment I walked into the clinic I feel free and open to express my every concern to my health team. They didn’t downplay my issues or make me feel like they “weren’t real”.
