The founder is a USF-trained Speech-Language Pathologist with a truly unique perspective — she's navigated learning difficulties herself, which gives her a level of empathy and insight that sets her apart. Melissa has become indispensable for my mom’s recovery post stroke. She has been seeing my mom for over a month and has progressively adjusted her therapy to fit my mom’s needs. She’s very warm and patient. My mom speaks English as a 2nd language and Melissa has navigated that with kindness and respect, ensuring my mom understands prompts and allowing extra time for translation.
