it is not legal to add a credit card surcharge in Florida without disclosing it. Florida law and card network rules require merchants to clearly disclose surcharge fees (often capped at 3-4%) at the point of entry, point of sale, and on the final receipt. Undisclosed fees are considered deceptive.
