My 6 year old son recently graduated from Sunny Day. He absolutely loved going to Sunny Day! All of the staff are incredible and supportive! An awesome perk is you can be with your child or watch them on their tablets to make sure they are safe and happy. I started out watching and being there and slowly was able to trust that he would be well cared for in their care. It helped him learn autonomy and show him that I didn't have to be with him. We were so excited to go here for ABA but unfortunately we did not have a good experience and we were charged co-pays when we did not attend therapy. This was not disclosed to us when we started or signed their financial agreement. Do not leave your card on file here even though Jennifer is super nice at the front desk. They will charge you for when they do paperwork and will not tell you when they are charging you. We also had duplicate charges for co-pays. My son attend to sunny days sunshine center and he love it he is super excited to go! Plus we have seen so much improvement!
Sunny Days is hands down the best special needs clinic in San Diego and Brooke Gibbons (Center Supervisor) is as good as they come. Like, the BEST! She has been working with my son for ~5 years, and that includes within a home environment and now the clinic. She and her team (which include ABA Therapists, OT's, SLP's, etc.) are top notch professionals and they run the clinic the same way. My son is the happiest boy in the world every time he is going to the center. The whole staff is amazing meeting my boy’s needs. He learns and play at the same time, he absolutely loves it. And they always make us feel welcome. I highly recommend Sunny Days Sunshine Center.
