He is my primary oncologist. I was diagnosed in May 2024 and since it was stage IV at the time of diagnosis I was very shocked and wanted to get second and third opinions and Dr. Nagpal encouraged me to do so and has worked well with another doctor I see three times a year at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. Talked at you, didn't talk to you and when we needed more answers at the second appointment, took over 50 minutes of us waiting before we left and decided to use another provider.
Doesn't listen to symptoms, doesn't explain things well, rushed, overall I felt like I was brushed off. I never ever complain. I wait until my appointment to discuss concerns. Then, I'm basically told to see my primary doctor to screen everything else out before coming to him with problems. Even if I believe the problem is cancer related. So, make more appointments, additional unnecessary testing, oh and more of my money wasted. I'm stage 4 follicular cancer on watch and wait. Wait for someone to listen to me? ...
Dr. Nagpal listens and always asks how he can help. He is very knowledgeable and his advice and ideas are excellent. I have been a patient for several years and am grateful for his care and kindness.
