Friendly knowledgeable staff and they care more about your pets than profits! Love this place!
The staff are knowledgeable and kind. I always get a friendly greeting and guidance. I’ve never been talked down to or felt that I was getting in the way. The team has even come to do outreach education for local students. I love that we have this local pet supply in a sea of big box stores. If they don’t have it in stock, they go out of their way and get it for you. 5 stars aren’t enough!
Every employee is very knowledgeable and kind. They are awesome at recommending what's best for your pets and giving you many tips for ways to improve the life of your aquariums. Great Store.

Only fish store I like from Manhattan to St. Joseph. I've been to a lot and these guys are the best. I now drive 2 hours to see them.

I love my saltwater tank and there is really only two stores in Manhattan to get fish for saltwater. This place and petco. Sunflower is MUCH more knowledgeable about their fish so the tanks are maintained much better. Anything petco has sunflower usually has at essentially the same cost. I just appreciate the reduced risk of getting my fish at sunflower since saltwater is expensive.
