RecommendedThis is the only place in manhattan we buy fish from!! Very knowledgeable staff and healthy fish!!!
I was blown away walking in! I searched surrounding towns high and low for a specific item for my sick doggo. I couldn't wait a week for it to be shipped to me from chain stores. Sunflower had it of plenty! The employees are friendly and curbside service is provided currently. One employee was cleaning the entire time I was in there.

I would like to give Sandra 5 stars, she is the groomer at Sunflower Pet. I have an appointment with her on Wednesday but being impatient (I had an appointment on Saturday and I missed it) I clipped my Golden-doodle myself. I was hesitant but I texted her with questions on a Sunday evening about the mess I made with my dogs haircut and she took time out of her personal schedule to answer my questions. The employees at Sunflower Pet are always super friendly and helpful! They can give you great recommendations on food and supplies for your pet and really go the extra mile for their customers. They even offer in-town delivery for some larger items, which we've used in a pinch. They also have store cats, so you know it's an awesome place!

Every time we go to Manhattan we have to stop for treats for our babies, the staff is friendly, helpful and the place does not smell bad, you cant even tell it is a pet store by smell, they introduced our babies to a new healthy snack of duck necks and salmon skins and they love it, they go the 200% for you and your furbaby.
