I had to go to Sunflower Med Grp Urgent Care today due to a bad case of poison ivy. I was greeted by a very pleasant staff member at Reception Desk named Christine. She was friendly, very helpful and has great customer service skills. I was treated by Susie the nurse for Dr Cristina Enrique. Susie was delightful as well, kind, thoughtful and very friendly. My nurse practitioner is clinically a good provider but her billing practices are questionable at best. The clinic has been charging Medicare patients for Advanced Primary Care Management at a monthly $60.00 fee, possibly since January 2025. If you sign the intake form, then you have allowed your practitioner to charge this fee, without even discussing it with you. Medicare says it’s legal but so unethical in my opinion. You have to contact the clinic to cancel this $$$ apparent “service”.
This place use to be phenomenal, but it has declined over the years. Very slow, hard to get into to do labs and such. I still would recommend Dr. Kumar though, he is the best PCP I have had in the last 20 years.
