Dean Yan with sunet group scammed my friend Shelby for a rental property in merkel, Tx. The home was shown by realtor virtually with photos of a well kept home. In reality the home was bed bug and mold infested with multiple leaks in the roof. Upon arrival when seeing this Shelby requested her money back because the home was not as advertised and it was also fully unlivable. Shop elsewhere. Appears to be a scam. Photos on their rental site do not represent the actual condition of the property. Still accepting applications (presumably so they can get application fees) even after a lease is already in effect on a property. Only accept payments that can't be disputed like Zelle, instead of accepting other legitimate forms of payment that could be disputed. We worked with Lingqian Zhuo on an application for a home we liked. First, they do not have the urgency to contact you to give you any type of updates unless you message and ask! Second, we were very upfront about our credit and income and Lingqian said it would be no problem as long as we put double deposit which we have no problem doing. After sending the application they reviewed (once again asked for double deposit), asked for documents, ID and bank statement, which we sent it. If they are associated with the aoxiang llc then I say to AVOID BY ALL MEANS LIKE A PLAGUE. This is by far the worse company I have ever rented from. I have rented throughout my college years and went thru all kinds of broker or landlord that do not demand the kinds of things this one expects from their tenant. I only had to rent this past year since our home in a different state was still on market. If I had not, I would have just begged to stay with family and friends. This is the worse experience and not worth the headach... read more
