Get your panels anywhere else! We were told it would only take a few weeks after the panels were installed for them to be turned on. It's been one year and three months, still not turned on. No apologies or any attempt to help us with the monetary damages we incurred from this whole ordeal. Not only has it taken this long for the panels to be turned on, but the engineer at Sunergy wanted to put a bunch of panels on the NORTH side of the house!!! Be very wary! They came knocking on my door and out of curiosity I let them in to find out more information about going solar. The rep was decent about some things but glossed over some very big things. He asked me my concerns and I said that I want to find a reputable company that is a good value. He offered a 10 KW system for about $45,000, which seemed like a lot of money. This being my first estimate I was not prepared to sign up on the spot. We had our solar panels installed back around June 2022… never had them switched over or got to use them. We had a tree fall on our house during hurricane Ian (in Nov) damaging panels. So in need of a new roof as well as replacing the damaged panels I requested a quote from Sunergy. After explaining everything to a person over the phone and requesting someone come out to give us a quote due to more damage such as trusses, etc. I received an email about a week later with a basic quote for new roofing.
