Update: We are not very happy with the how things are going so far. It started off well with the installation but we are actually worse off than before. After now having the system for 3 months, we are paying $220 per month for the solar and our bills have actually increased. We seem to be drawing energy from the grid when we have energy stored in the battery. So we are paying top dollar for power and receiving basically nothing for sending it in. Still a bit early for a comprehensive review. April to June 2025 has seen a $60 saving on last years bill where I had an old solar system. My new one includes a battery from Sun Energy. Easy people to deal with but I have a roof leak which seems to be getting fixed in the near future thanks to Mark.
I was impressed to talk to someone from Sun Energy at Elizabeth city centre and they got the ball rolling for me. I'm very pleased with the service and now have my solar panels up and going. I'm currently waiting to find out about a battery with this company as well..Would recommend this company as the service was excellent.
4 star would have been 5 star for excellent service but lacking after hours service via phone, which meant waiting from Friday evening to Monday morning to fix battery software failure.
