This hotel is kind of hidden. It Has a beautiful pool but the best part is the cabana connected to the pool. I was extremely surprised by this because of it just being the Days inn and most hotels anywhere in the area dont have this. Im happy t he owners have kept it up.
I booked this hotel with low expectations given the budget-friendly price, but even then, the overall experience was just average (around 3 stars). Here are a few things to keep in mind if you stay here: Facilities: The room and amenities are quite dated. Some items didn't seem to work properly—for instance, I tried using the hairdryer multiple times, but it just wouldn't turn on. Somehow located in a weird block but close to 101 and 237. Pool needs remodeling as well as the gym. Very loud neighbors out whole 2 week stay. No security, friendly staff.
Don't trust the AI Summary. From the moment i saw the Sundowner sign, I knew I had made a mistake. After picking up my room key at the office, I got to the room and immediately looked for other hotels in the area and checked out the next morning. I have travelled other Wyndham properties across North America and I have to say this is by far the worst one.
Great location right off the freeway. Very good bed, quiet, many nearby food choices, excellent breakfast with hard boiled eggs, excellent price and value
