We attended glebe school for a parenting course. Following course my son was referred to CYPS suspect ADHD. Process with CAHMS wasn't too bad at all. The course helped us put into practice things we are still using now 6 months later. Pizza massage, reverse praise, etc. Thank you Erma and Jude.
Made me feel alot better and gave me a friend to play toys with :)
this is a terrible service, my 8 week sessions took me about 20 weeks with my councillor andrea huges, for your own sake and mental health i would never recommend going here, i was lied to by this councillor, my referral was ment to be put in july 2023, only just been put in, in feb 24. i waited nearly 2-3 years to try and get onto cams to. iv been with them for nearly a year, and just now my referral has been put in. please do not go here and do not get a councillor andrea huges, she is incompetent at her job, lies to you, ... read more

Lazy incompetent staff will waste years of your child's life. Stated son wasn't Autistic when they have no training or education to diagnose. He has now been diagnosed by the right people as Autistic. Camhs just wanted to hand out patronising worksheets and make son attend a course on bullying. Took escalating a complaint to the Manager to get them to do anything. They are a self important paperwork hurdle to the correct people helping you. Place should be closed down.
