If I could rate this place a -0 I would , absolutely horrible place and I do NOT recommend coming here for any of your needs , don’t rent a place to live , don’t even rent a cabin from the owner and his wife. Wouldn’t even put your rv there to camp. $205 a week , $820 in all for a one bedroom one bath little place that I can tell you was NOT nice at all.. former residents left things in the place and no one cleaned up , there was a old bike on the side of the house , the little porch was nasty. Basically wouldn’t rent a cabin to me because I’m “young” & he followed that up with he raised a lot of “Cane” back in his day. I’m 20 years old have held a steady job for 2 years & make almost $2,000 every 2 weeks. First off Raymond Thomas Huskey Jr. is a strange man started off with me walking to the vacation cabin in the back he comes out on the front porch & sits on it to put his shoes on while continually talking, then I watched him walk up to another cabin & unscrew the porch light bulb that isn’t even half of it if yo... read more
We treated the family to this between Christmas and New Year's. It was more than we hoped for, and we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay. It fit our large family, too. The owners were a message away if we had questions, and were so helpful and kind. We are already planning our next visit! Definitely recommend!

It was totally beautiful amazing quiet with great tranquility peace and joyful. Minutes from the lake , large boat dock At Devil's step boat.. 2 minutes away , very clean & maintain , fully furnished for home away from home. I would recommend this to anybody and everybody a great getaway spot , as it is also around many different adventurous things to do. Very adorable and affordable... and having people as nice as the owners are to deal your business with was an amazing adventure awesome and amazing customer service
We arrived aug.5th and stayed untill.aug 6th.it is a very nice cabin.the owner is a very nice person and trys his best to accommodate your needs!!!!!!we stayed at the cabin.for our 19th wedding anniversary.one thing that would.of made it better is if there had of been.a pool.more closer because to me that is a hassle!!!!!!I would consider building a pool.on the property if I were you.but I would stay there again.because it is a very.nice cabin.
