My husband is a quadriplegic from a gunshot would to the neck while working as a police officer. For the past 25 years, he received home health services during the day while I was at work (help with bathing, repositioning to prevent sores, getting a snack, checking his glucose, helping with elimination, etc.). In June, he was discharged by this agency because they were "short staffed". It is hard for me to understand what is "short-staffed"? Who gets to decide who gets services and who doesn't? I am so upset with this company. First the lady just showed up at my house no phone call nothing and that was Monday. Apparently yesterday she came to my house and then went to my neighbors I wasn’t home. Then my neighbor just informed me that the nurse called the cops to my house. I am so upset right now I can’t think straight. I have 2 dogs they are big dogs that like to bark at whoever knocks on my door.
