Suncrest Hospice responded and treated my mother beyond any of our expectations. Dr. Brosius was excellent. Jennifer her nurse was caring and compassionate. Nika her aide was superb. Scott the Chaplain was empathic. Thanks again for all you did for our family.
This hospice is one of the worst healthcare businesses I have ever come across. The Director of Clinical services is simply a terrible person. She does not seem to care about patients at all. Please stay away from this hospice if you value your loved ones care.
Suncrest hospice care and their employees went above and beyond everyday that my dad was in their care. From Jen coming out to meet with us that first day, to Ellie and Keya checking up on pops daily, Roberta on the phone ready to drop everything in the middle of the night to come by and help us set up equipment if we didn’t understand how it worked, and Adam being happy to help every time we called in as well. Suncrest is a wonderful hospice company that truly cares about patients and families. They offer home health aides 5 days a week which not many hospice companies do. They provide individualized hospice care for patients.
Run. If you are a nurse, there are many agencies out there to choose from, so PLEASE choose a non profit like Bayada. If you are a hospice family, ask if your nurse has been vetted, referenced checked and how long have they have been trained in hospice. Ask if the on call back up actually has hands on hospice experience in the home. Ask for the corporate phone number because the one on your magnet and on your admissions folder will only go to the director or on call nurse and if they are the problem then you are out of luck.... read more
