I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Toni DeFrancisco through my role at Grand Victorian Senior Living. Suncrest Hospice cared for one of our residents, and we could not have been happier with the care they provided. Their team treated our resident with compassion, dignity, and respect, which means so much to us. Toni is caring, approachable, and truly dedicated to helping others. The Suncrest team was amazing in ensuring that my loved one was well cared for and that their final wishes were carried out with dignity and compassion. Dismal experience with this hospice provider. Poor communication between team members and someone named Joy would frequently say to me in phone calls “your mother doesn’t look like someone who needs to be in hospice”…what a ridiculously tone deaf thing to say! Fortunately my mothers health improved but she did qualify for hospice according to her MD, but apparently you need to “look” near death for them to feel your worth their time.
My family and I were lucky enough to have SunCrest on our side for our relative’s last few months. The entire team was so wonderful, kind, communicative and compassionate. Sandra was his nurse and she always put a smile on his face and our faces with her kind and realistic demeanor. Jessica, the social worker, was also with us for each step and checking in on us. Thank you so much, everyone.
The staff we met were wonderful and very responsive. They answered our questions, gave us some great reference materials, and guided us through what to expect.
