THE OFFICE STAFF HERE, ESPECIALLY THE BILLING DEPARTMENT IS RUDE AND ARROGANT. MY DOCTOR, KEVINE SPIRES SUGGESTED THAT I TRY A NON-EVASE PROGRAM TO HELP MY URINARY FREQUENCY. THERE WAS NO GUARANTEE, BUT HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO FEE OR COPAY FOR THE PROCEDURE, SO I AGREED TO TRY IT. UNFORTUNATELY I RECEIVED A BILL FOR 3 TREATMENTS FOR 75.00. I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET. While I am not wild about a Urology appointment, I am never disappointed with the CARE I get at Suncoast Urology in particularly with Dr Buethe. He has taken time, explained and showed concern for not only my urology health realated problems but with all my concerns with my health. Offered sound advice and even though I have an HMO insurance he takes TIME. The staff have always been pleasant and even quick to kid around a bit which I find helps to put patients at ease. My Father contracted Prostate Cancer and went to this place to eradicate it. He became a regular, going every week for their miracle test, a urinalysis. He was ordered zero PET scans during his entire time as their patient of two full years. For two years he was told, “its normal,” to hurt as badly as he did. I was told to get a sonogram of my kidney at an imaging company. I got the authorization from the insurance company and tried to set up appt at the imaging co. I was told Suncoast would have to send order over. I called Suncoast 4 times to work with the office manager to get order sent over. After the 3rd call she said she would take care of it and call me back. After a week, no call. I called the imaging company and they said they had no order. I don’t normally do this but this office is the worst. A little over a month ago I came in with my friend and over heard the office manager Patti talking about they way a patient smelled and spraying air freshener to get the stink out. She was standing in the middle of the office where everyone could hear and the patient was in the waiting room. I asked if I could be seen by a different doctor and was told no. I was very vocal about not wanting to see that doctor and was told I had. Told them I would go elsewhere if I couldn't see someone else. Said I had to see the original doctor. So going elsewhere. Terrible business model.

I would like to take a minute to give a Great big Thank You to doctor Buethe . You are an Amazing doctor !!!! You saved my life in more ways than one. Today you told me i was cancer free. And thanks to you I quit smoking and i believe I'll live a little longer to enjoy my wife and 6 kids.ty again doc .
