This is the worst long term rental agency I've ever dealt with. The office has a large turnover rate (which should tell you something) and the owner Rick Border is clueless and will lie straight to your face. We unfortunately rented for several years from these people, and had several large problems. 1) we had a shared driveway, while the neighbor also rented from them. They had to have the septic line dug up and the company sewer rat blasted raw sewage all over our driveway which was never cleaned up. I called and was told ... read more
We have had an amazing experience with the team at short term rentals with Sunburst. The house was perfect, and any small question we had was answered promptly and to our satisfaction. They are so much easier to work with than the "big box" national vacation rental companies. Highly recommended.
Burt is the worst person on the long term rental dept to deal with, he is rude, doesn’t know what he is talking about and instead of knowing his clients he should say let Me look up your file before spouting out things that doesn’t have anything to do with that particular client it’s somebody else. He gets more things mixed up than anybody I know. He should be fired. If this is Sunburst representation they are in bad shape.
Highly recommend. We've stayed at two different rentals Sunburst has on Lake Junaluska. Nice people.
