While maintenance repeatedly attempted to resolve the problem with the toilet not properly flushing for over two weeks in my mother’s room, the issue finally came to a head when the toilet began leaking all over the floor and numerous unsatisfactory explanations were offered by several staff members. Their solution was to post a sign saying don’t use the toilet and instead use a portable bucket and empty sewage in shower drain.

It’s great that a facility like this exist! Clean and friendly facility with amazing staff. There are private rooms, semi private and even the three bed room are spacious Great nurses and approachable staff makes for a speedy recovery. They specialize in wound care, respiratory and rehabilitation. The therapy room is the largest in Porterville and is top notch. I would feel comfortable putting mom here. Sequoia transitional care is the best

My mom was in this facility for a few months after being in a bad accident. The staff was all very nice gentle and very very patient with her. We would be there late at night and the staff was always very understanding and never told us anything. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing care.
