Went in over with my mother over the weekend to find a birthday gift for another family member. I found several items and wanted to pay with my American Express. I was told that their "machine" did not like American Express. When I told the sales person that it was the only card I had with me, she had the audacity to ask my 81 year-old mother if she had the money to loan me!!! I was mortified, as was my mother!
