I purchased boots from Summit just before they went out of business. The boots were sized too large. I found Sun and Snow and made an appointment for a boot fitting. Because the boots were too large Sun and Snow could not reasonably fit them properly. Rather than sell me a new pair of ski boots, Rob contacted the company that purchased Summit and arranged for me to exchange them. Absolutely top notch shop with an excellent team and service. After too many years not skiing I needed to get my whole family set up to get on the snow this year. My emails and questions were answered promptly and throughly and Rob went out of his way to meet me in the store, get me started on the boot fitting process and to get everything I needed in a short time to get skiing on a day off I had coming up.I want to give recognition to Blake for his help as well. Let’s give a shout out to all the small business snow sports shops out there. Many, including my shop of choice in Michigan, Sun & Snow Sports, are having a rough go of it. They’re in my prayers. For snow sports enthusiasts, they are an “essential business”. The owners may not qualify for unemployment, the loans are not easy to get and they’re stuck with all that inventory you couldn’t buy. Highly recommended as they worked a MIRACLE today on my ski boots. They (Grant, specifically) made my boots feel better than ever with a couple of tweaks. I have never looked forward to wearing my ski boots and never believed they would be so comfortable! Many, many thanks.

Do not hesitate to make an appointment with the Plymouth boot lab if you have any sort of issue with your ski boots. I spent an hour and a half with Alex and he all but performed an exorcism on my boots after applying heat, hammer, press, and, I guess, magic. I took the boots skiing a day later and the change was astounding. I have a pair of very odd feet and in my 27 years of skiing have only been able tolerate boots with the need to frequently unbuckle.
